15.4 miles, 3 loops, 2 night runs, 1 fall, 1 bee sting, 2 sore legs, 8 teammates, 1 tent
good times & stars… countless
Team “Yo, Ho, Go… Chasing Booty One Leg at a Time” ran a great race at this past weekend’s McDowell Mountain Trail Ragnar. It was such a good time- there’s a relaxed atmosphere, camping, beautiful scenery, yoga sessions, hammock village, fun team names, movies & massage therapists on hand. They even cleaned and restocked all the porta-potties twice while were there. Twice! We hung out at our site and swapped stories, warmed ourselves by the fire in Ragnar Village while we waited for night runners to return from the trail, and we even snuck in a little sleep. Really, it was a fantastic, well run event.
Bravo Ragnar Planners!
And then there was the running… but I’ll save that for my next post. In the mean time, please enjoy a photographic look at the race. I don’t run with my phone so, sorry, no shots from the trail!
